you show me swan lake
when you pas de deux
& I hear castanets click
to your flamboyant flamingo
oh you dance my day
with sway of hip
dance with me
the fandango
let's feather motions
across this floor
moving to whatever beat
that lifts the feet
& makes the heart skip
then dance with me
the tango

I think you captured the spirit of the picture well in this. I found it interesting that you went with several different dances rather than focus on just one. It gives the impression that you were spotlighting the feel of the image rather than the image itself. One question though, did you mean "flamingo" the bird in L4 or "flamenco" the dance?

Ah dancing under the moonlight with a gentle breeze fragant filled air in the arms of the one who holds your heart ..... I felt a real good feeling reading your poem as the picture they painted I felt i was swaying and twriling in step with your words. the imagery and flow and the emotion of the dances works well. Thank for the pleasure of the dance. Nicely penned.
