Such is your beauty that I’ve seen,
on your countenance so calm and serene.
You inspire the songs on this minstrel’s lyre,
enrapturing with your eyes and their radiant fire.
Your voice is mellifluous like a gurgling stream,
to me you’re like a beautiful dream.
Looking at you in a state of amaze,
I gaze… I gaze…
The full moon pales into significance,
incomparable to your magnificence.
When you’re not here, in my despair,
I search for you, everywhere.
Your captivating smile, brimming with innocence,
just looking at you, I absorb your essence.
Charming you are, in all your vivacity,
your eyes twinkling with a touch of audacity.
Your silken tresses, dark as the darkest raven,
in this cruel world, you’re my safe haven.
Parting with you would cause me much strife,
don’t go, for I’ll cherish you all my life.
