Slip Away

 




Let me slip,

       slip into the night;

allow me to seep

        through the cracks

and just ~

                    disappear


 

I try to run ~

           they catch me.

I try to hide ~

           they find me.


 

Is there

    no place to go?

Is peace

         not allowed?


 

Looking around ~

 

there are no rocks

             to crawl under;

      no closets

          to hide inside;

  and no caves

          to hibernate within.


 

Let me slip,

        slip into the night;

seep into the cracks,

       run into the

                   shadows ~

 

 

 

I'll be back.....

                            after awhile.

    This is excellent mum, so deep, simple yet complicated. You simply want to disappear for awhile but it's not really possible. Unless spiritually. *gets blanket and gives to mummy, points underneath bed* .
