The Will

Anxiety overwhelms
Fears creep around

Determination arises
Faith launches out

“I can't“ attitude
Changes because “I can”

Things surface
New meanings take place

Nightmares whisper
Ignoring them

Pressing on

Going beyond dreams
Seeing stars
Goals reached

Very thought provoking, and intense. I love the way you end the piece with a very simple phrase. It drives the whole piece home excellently.

    Very nice...

.... I really like your poem.... It is short sweet and to the point. I like the part of the I can't attitude turning into I can attitude. That's always the best attitude to have. Whew too many attitudes in there. Great job. Kassie.

I think you've got it all figured out, Kari We can do whatever we have the will to do, I believe, and you've proven it can be done. We all have a ways to go, no matter how much we've accomplished, which is a good thing, it keeps that will intact.

This is a wise piece you've penned here, Kari. Good for you

    love and
    Dee
