Slowly I am learning
That the world does
Not have to love me.
I just have to love me.

That people will let
You down
But God never will.

That I am not unlovable
Like I always thought
Someone does love me.
Slowly I am learning
That love hurts alot
Sometimes but
It just might be worth it.
Slowly I am learning
That sometimes you need
To let go of a person
So they can be happy
Slowly I am learning
That I am not a
Failure
I can do something right.
But mostly I am learning
That letting go
Is the hardest thing
But I am willing to
If that means happiness
For you in the end.

Hmmm- mostly my thoughts right now. Just things I am really figuring out about myself. Things I am feeling right now. Some is directed to something, but I am not talking about it so don't ask.

This is a brilliant poem. You have put forward such a beautiful, thought provoking, wonderful piece that Im sure many will be inspired by. What you have written is so very, very true and takes courage and knowledge to realise these things. And once you have started realising these things, then you can finally start living and enjoying what life has for you. This is such an awesome poem. Great work.

Good read
Life is all about learning. And I totally agree that's is mostly slow. The first stanza:
Slowly I am learning
That the world does
Not have to love me.
I just have to love me."
is where I am at this point in my life.
