Midnight Run

Spinning waves of colorful haze rapping around the sun
Broadened skies on mountains high, away with whispers run
Silver rays of starry dust filling empty eyes
The sun now rests far away in the west
And her sister takes the sky
Milky waves in dripping glaze fallow horizon lines
And soften blues draw “ahs” and “owes” form children’s quite eyes
The heavens open, crystal clear, away my dear
We will sit with small hands reaching high
To touch on glory, away with your worry
Resting under most watchful blue eyes
Till morning does come our dreams they will run
Bringing color filled pictures to life
Until the Sun brakes the east, the Moon’s reign has deceased
We’ll run from the waking world with grace of the wind
Away in the peace of the night

This is a beautiful poem. Very descriptive with vivid imagery. I love the smooth flow of the words. Well done. There were one or two typos. May have been intentional. Overall, nicely written.
