Ok. Before you go like. "WTF" I want to give you some background on this..
First off, it's a song. There's no beat, tune or rhythm to it ever.
Secondly, it was written over the phone at 2 AM, three years ago.
Billie Joe refers to the lead singer of Green Day and the whole cat bit was about when his cat was left in the washing machine on accident and well, you can figure that one out.
We all know Hickory Dickory Dock.
The song was written because I could not find any socks to keep my feet warm.
Well, pairs of socks.
I'm obsessive compulsive, so unmatched socks = no socks.
Stuff is always disappearing here, so I pretty much assumed it was eaten by my house.
The bits of dialogue are silly little bits me and my friend were throwing back and forth.
