Truth

Truth

If they say it to another

But say they dont mean it

How can you tell its not you

They also decieve

When they mention three little words

Your whole world turns upside down

How do you know their words

Are not turned around

Could what they say be opposite in meaning

And your the one they are trying to trick into believing

Its all so complicated and confusing

These doubts your mind cant help crossing

A contest entry

Please tell me what you think

This poem shows us that you are an observant poet who has depth in thought.
Natural insticts are a gift from God. You definitely are aware of yours. Intellegent thoughts are weaved throughout this poem sending an important message. Well done dear poet.

sounds like a player to me. why do women discount their instincts, men too for that matter? why, tell me why? I mean, if your instincts are saying, 'run like hell' why don't we listen? my screamed at me loud and clear before I clipped that wire but I stayed, like an idiot, i stayed.
The doubts are there for a reason, that's what I say.
Granted, I didn't listen to mine and surmised that I could survive whatever it was that I was being warned against. Blah...I'm rambling. it's six a.m.
I wish you the best, my dear. Frantic pixie - that's a cute name.
