Every once in a while i will pick up a bag
one that i have had for quite some time
when i open it there is no suprise to whats inside
the object that contains more then just lingering feelings
I highly doubt its edible after all this time
but it still looks the same as the day it was given to me
a very viberant green with a bronzish coating
i had wishes he would have given me something i could wear
or atleast something less biodegradable
but still it does the trick, as i charish it more the any
gold or silver
my keepsake has melted over time fusing to the bag that it is in
but it still holds the same symbol that is always has
my true love gave it to me and seven years later
he gave me his heart as well.
something round i could lick
somthing sweet on a stick
something seven years old
more presious then fine gold
and what i didnt know from the start
is it came attached with a heart

i like the suprise of rummaging in an old bag too, usually looking for a lost fiver i am sure is left there

i have a picture of a lollipop given after a nice time at the fair or other pleasant outing.
This was a lovely memory and a pleasure to read
