I look out into a busy street city
And I watch my peers hurrying along
Forced into a shocking reality
Now knowing everything we knew was wrong
We were living in hopeless ignorance
To think, of all the world, we were the great
Never knowing our lives were at a chance
No one suspected this could be our fate
It came as such a tragic surprise
We were left standing conquered and dismayed
A feeling of vengeance began to rise
Where a sense of security once laid
I look out into a busy street city
And no longer see a land of the free
