I'm chasing a dream that isn't there,
following a road that leads nowhere.
I'm searching all the time
for something I'll never find...
The one who's right for me.
It's like an impossible goal
that I'm trying to achieve.
And it makes me want to
fall to my knees and beg
while crying my eyes out.
I scratch at unhealable wounds
as reality consumes me.
My heart divides as the truth unwinds.
My world is intertwined
as it consumes me with confusion.
I've been searching for so long.
Where did I go wrong?
Are all my ohpes nad wishes gone?
Will I ever find the one who's right for me?
I feel so hopeless when I'm searching
for I fear that I can search for the
remainder of my life
and still be unable to find
what I've been seeking for so long.
I'm tired of searching for nothing.
I want to find my soul mate and
end this tedious journey.
I don't want to go through several guys,
kissing numerous frogs until I find a prince.
I want to find my prince and live
happily ever after and never have to
search for happiness again,
for I'll have found it at last.
So confused...

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I'm hardly on here anymore, and they've changed it so much. haha But yeah, nothing is wrong now, that was just a weird time when inspiration struck. And it's about other people too. People seem to spend their whole lives looking for the right one. Or at least a good chunk of their lives. hehe

Sometimes you need to go through numerous frogs as you call them.. dating is natural in this day and age, you're young! Search away! Don't settle for the guys who seem nice at first, have to get to know the true them! Don't worry, it will come along!...Good right btw lol..keep it u

The ending surprised me!
I am not making fun here or laughing, it just surprised me! So much heartache and passion and then all of a sudden frogs! Frogs! They are not serious enough for the poem. Now jerk or idiot is more like it! If your man say so. Let it all hang out.
