I Hear You God

What would you have me do?
Do I follow the crowd or do what I know in my heart is right?
I hear you God telling me to follow the path that leads home to you
My still, small voice tells to to go toward the light.

What would you have me do?
Do I just blindly live day to day or do I look to you when I come to pray?
I hear you God telling me to follow the straight and narrow on my way home to you.
For the safety of my soul, there is no price too high to pay!

What would you have me do?
Do I make my life count as an affirmation of your love for mankind?
I hear you God telling me to do as you would have me do, not as I, a sinner would like to do
24/7 I carry God in my heart and on my mind!
