Theres this man I see him every day
He's not your average man
you see he's a man in a uniform who fights for our
freedom who helps keep our country safe
He's a man with a family, a wife and a son
he gives up birthdays, aniverserys and holidays
hes gone for weeks, months and years at a time
I wish i knew how to show him how amazing he really is
how much he means to me and all hes done
I wish he knew how sorry I am for everything
and forgive me this one last time
I wish he knew this all
for.
I'd rather die then see this man hurt in anyway

very sad. brought me to tears. my husband is currently over seas and is supposed to come home soon after a 13month deployment... so I totally understand this poem

the forgiveness is for basicly not being there in the ways that he needed me to be because i could not understand what he was feeling.
