I've never really met you,
Although you want to so bad.
We talk over the computer,
Get to know each other.
I know it bugs you
When you don't get my number,
Or even a picture of who I am.
When I first started talking to you,
It was due to our career interests,
Both looking to the Air Force.
That career for you was shot down,
When something happened.
It was really then,
When you wanted Christ.
Many times,
I went to your page.
Notes to God,
And a wonderful Christian atmosphere.
For awhile that seemed a constant.
Now you've changed.
Say Christianity is wrong.
I'm worried about you,
For you are my friend.
We've come to calling each other,
Bro and sis.
A thing started because we were Christians.
I love you as a brother and a friend,
And I don't know what to do other than pray
And ask God to work in your heart,
And help me know what to say.
I don't want to preach,
But I don't want to lose you either.
So as I think about you,
And this change,
I honestly and seriously realize,
It's all in God's hands.
I need to trust,
That He will work in your heart.
Author notes
I wrote this after a talk with my friend and about him turning from Christ. I've realized that the best thing is to just be there for him and pray. I do pray that he finds his way back to Christ.
Please tell me what you think
