Snow

Waiting silently.
Hope is faint…
But waiting –still.
Soft, it falls down around and round.
Wintry breath chills, but beauty –
Frozen, pure –
Falls to earth.

Please tell me what you think

I like this one too !

I think cluesgandg is a very good writer ! I think this poem makes you think it is snowing out side! I almost want to go into the garage and get the shovel.

A lovely poem for today, when the snow fell. You have described the anticipation and delight of this beautiful wonder!
