Adam and Eve

on the sixth day God
formed man from the ground
the first birth of  likely image rose
breathing air on his own..

his name....ADAM

for he was be placed in
the garden named Eden
with trees for feasting
and creatures of all kinds
he shall live and look over this
land of paradise...his home

and as time past,
God decided to give Adam a mate
and taking a bone of Adam's
rib a woman was created
and ADAM called her EVE
(the mother of all living things)

but there is one thing God
made clear to both never to
eat from the tree of knowledge..
good and evil for if they do....

they shall die..

together, hand in hand
in no shame or fear
roamed their world
and spiritually bonded

and believed in God's word..

then one day as EVE
lay in slumber Satan

in disguise entered the land
and whispered in her ear

convincing her to have a taste
of the forbidden fruit
for she would not die,

that was a lie for if she did
she would become just
as mighty as God..

and when she rose
disturbed... yet intrigued
she picked and ate from the tree
the juice was sweet upon her

sinful lips and in greed

ran and shared it with her mate

and when they were through
they hung their heads in shame
for Adam and Eve sinned
by placing their desires above

the one they loved and honored

and through this act sin
entered the world
as Adam blamed Eve
and Eve blamed the
inticing voice in her dream...(Satan)

God replied
"damn you from all the animals
and all living things of this land
upon your bellies you shall walk
and dust shall you eat "

leave this place at once

For you both are now  immortals
all your days will be hard
til the day you return to the earth
from where you came
