Give me wealth
I will drive poverty from this world.
Give me strength
I will strenghen the society.
Give me power
I will establish peace.
Give me knowledge
I will enlight the man.
Give me devotion
I will bind you to stay with us.
Give me compassion
I can help the destitutes.
Give me everything
I will serve the human race,
Give me nothing
I will pray for your grace.

Hope for the future.
It's not a selfish prayer; you ask only, so that you will be able to give. What a splendid idea. If everybody in this world would do the same, then there would not be poverty, famine, war or evil... only peace, happiness and love. I hope this prayer will be reality some day. Well done... a beautiful poem.

Prayer is a very powerful tool. I completely believe that prayer is so real and does in fact dictate our lives, but I don't think you should pray for things, but instead, thank the Lord, for allowing you to have those things, because he will provide. As there is no doubt, simply state your gratitude even before you have the thing, because you will surely get it, if you pray in earnest and it is the Lord's will.
