Why cant life ever be easy?
Always picking up the peices from the yesterday.
Shuffling in the gutter for some form of life.
Hoping the tomorrow will bring no more tears.
Scrimping and saving to get what you want,
Getting nowhere fast, yet time standing still.
In one pocket and out of the other,
Feeding the drawer of the fact cats till.
Credit cards, bank loans, mortgages,
Insurance, credit, finance.
Heavy loaded burdenening,
The banks idea of romance!

Come now girl if life was easy there would be a tax upon it and everyone would aspire to have a slice of that pie......
Though times seem imposing it is usually those times that define the character of oneself. Just mentioning some of the lines you have means you are rising to the occasion and are dancing frivilously with the romantic notions of the lending institutions, nice I prefer the triple two step as I dance in the fray
One thing I want ask about was the eigth line and the word fact, I can see how it would stand as fact but wondered if you meant fat.
Very nice job conveying what we all face in some fashion throughout the years.
