Died Today

If I died today
I couldn't say that I lived my life
Spend most of it in the dark
Just finally coming into the light
Finally brave enough to hold my head high
Just found the strength to carry on
Realize that I'm not alone
People feel the same

I'm not the only one with problems
Worse than I thought
It could have been worse
I used to think
Not talk to me, if you couldn't understand
Understand where I'm coming, if you didn't
Then for goodness sake, could you try?

If I died today
It wouldn't even matter now
Just feel the coldness of death over me
Realize that I'm coming home
No one want remember me
My memory wouldn't even live on

In a list

Please tell me what you think

This is a very interesting poem. I beg to differ, though. It would matter to more people than you think. You have made a mark. You are going to make even more of a mark. Don't start doubting now! Keep in mind that when you seek light, those in darkness will turn on you. It is not personal. It is just what they do.
