This is another poem by my friend, it hit me deep and I'm sure it will you too.

Does not matter what happened
Does not matter what is wrong.
There does not have to be a dead end.
These troubles in our lives are what make us so strong...

Her best friend died from a tumor today.
She does not know how she will make it through.
But even thought the skies are gray
She knows ther's a day she'll see her friend again brand-new.

His big brother ran away
His family is torn apart
But he stays down on bent knees to pray
Knowing that God is listening with all of his heart.

They became a family of three instead of five
The day their parents died
But the promise that keeps them together and alive
Is the one from their parents: they'll never have to divide.

Bad hair, freckles, glasses, and braces
She's picked on at school everyday
But she knows that she is still beautiful
When her mom tells her on the phone from faraway.

Lonely, beaten, and molested
Brother and sister live out in the street
But they are happy to be safe, together, and well rested
Even though their family is incomplete.

She wears her hair and clothes
As black as the night sky
And even though she has no friends she knows
Shes happy just the way she is and never does she cry.

So much hidden pain and heartacke
This world will never see
We take our situations, find the positive, and out of them make
Something good to help us be happy and worry free.

Does not matter what happened
Does not matter what is wrong.
There does not have to be a dead end.
These troubles in our lives are what make us so strong...

Please tell me what you think
