Another Bipolar fit

A shiver grasps me,
Adrenalin too
Eyes blur, I can't see
Another fit comes through

I delay the tears
And head to my room
Pounding in my ears
I hide away in gloom

Two hours pass fast
My eyes are so raw
Running from my past
My path is circular

Open the cabinet
Hundreds of tablets
One bottle of wine
Take this life of mine
      PLEASE
I see no future for this empty shell...

Author notes

No, before ANYONE calls me an emo or this poem emo I will explain. I have a mental disorder called Bipolar disorder and if I don't take my medicine I can have fits. Either mania fits, adrenalin fits, suicidal fits, angry fits or just fits in general! I wrote this whiles going through one. El Enjoy'o

Bipolar disorder affects many people, myself included, and its different for everyone. I can sympathize with you in this write. The line "...Running from my past
My path is circular..." parallels my life. Thanks for the comment. Keep writing.

Hey i like this poem. I am also Bipolar and have mpd and yes i can see where you are coming from with this. Its really quite a personal piece of poetry, so dont be alarmed if people don't quite understand. But i certainly do. Xx
