A shiver grasps me,
Adrenalin too
Eyes blur, I can't see
Another fit comes through
I delay the tears
And head to my room
Pounding in my ears
I hide away in gloom
Two hours pass fast
My eyes are so raw
Running from my past
My path is circular
Open the cabinet
Hundreds of tablets
One bottle of wine
Take this life of mine
PLEASE
I see no future for this empty shell...
Adrenalin too
Eyes blur, I can't see
Another fit comes through
I delay the tears
And head to my room
Pounding in my ears
I hide away in gloom
Two hours pass fast
My eyes are so raw
Running from my past
My path is circular
Open the cabinet
Hundreds of tablets
One bottle of wine
Take this life of mine
PLEASE
I see no future for this empty shell...

Bipolar disorder affects many people, myself included, and its different for everyone. I can sympathize with you in this write. The line "...Running from my past
My path is circular..." parallels my life. Thanks for the comment. Keep writing.

Hey i like this poem. I am also Bipolar and have mpd and yes i can see where you are coming from with this. Its really quite a personal piece of poetry, so dont be alarmed if people don't quite understand. But i certainly do. Xx

Okay this would suck, I really loved the way you rhymed up until the end. It could be longer like you should actually THROW a fit, like beat somebody up with furniture lol, well anyway just a thought, I guess what I'm trying to say is i hope it gets better, stick to the drugs.(medicine)
