Reel
roller coaster down the track
realizing I can’t turn back
racing feeling in my heart
reaching speed from a dead start
resting once but now I scream
reeling just like in a dream
riding in this little cart
Author notes
Pleiades style
This titled form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, Sol Magazine's Lead Editor. Only one word is allowed in the title followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. I added a rhyming scheme of aabbccb and 7 syllable lines.

I checked out your Pleiades form, because anything with astronomical connotations is bound to catch my eye. I think this would be fun and useful during a dry period...just to get started.
“roller coaster down the track
realizing I can’t turn back”
This sets the rhythm beautifully.

WOW!
Redux
Redo – again and again – your poetry is deluxe!
Reel me into your flux!
Realize this is a great poem – riding the rollercoaster, I can feel the motion!
Relenting you can feel raw emotion!
Real these words the give me power!
Realistic in the feeling, I now need a shower!
Relaxing when the ride is over – lets to it again and again – you have my devotion!
Bravo!
