Your lord and protector

Your lord and protector

God give me strength
I dreamed Sahabah bathed
in suds at length
while dripping she wades.

Washing Sahabah's face clear
with milk and honey
longing to kiss dear
and rub creams runny.

I bring Sahabah's towel
which she lightly damps
over glistening droplets trowel
before a heat lamp.

Then Sahabah's head slides
into my arms crock
to whisper and confide
before our lips lock.

I pull Sahabah who
lest we soil again
oh how I rue
not touching my friend.

My eyes are hazel
as Sahabah's reflect back
I rub her navel
as she leans back.

Sahabah smells like fruit
and flowers so ripe
her eyes shine cute
as I towel wipe.

Sweet Sahabah smiles giggling
as I carry too
her arms holding wiggling
as girls often do.

Our language of love
is poets who pray
and hearts that shove
all bad feelings away.

I put Sahabah down
stating once God's name
She vanishes her frown
as sweet sleep came.

Watching Sahabah fall off
in my protecting arms
her nightgown twists undoffs
exposing now safe charms.

Author notes

Dear friends

I wanted something erotic but cute. Sensual dream but not sexual, well, emphasizing a relationship where two people are safe enough to be unconscious together.

my friend you aimed and..... swish! achieved so charming this peice, i thought the simplicities were hot, and very cute especially 'longing to kiss dear and rub your bummy' and yet shows a brief moment of intense depth with 'our language of love is the poets that pray' in which those moments are soo the life poetry in motion, the start also fits the end very well and so it all shows a devine peice of your life with flow and an empathatic smiling tear

How interesting your poem was.. not like those dirty erotic poems but full of love and of course true loves. Your loving lady is going to enjoy this. Great my brother and let your pen ooze and delight us with your words.
Thank you for sharing with us :-)

I think you did that but bummy? lol Maybe cute but poetic for you tis not I fear, just put me off a bit I'm afraid, not wanting to be harsh and I know there is not a lot of words that rhyme with this one You write so sensually that this person would be a lucky woman.

Well, My Brother, your poem filled all the requirements of your notes...hazel eyes,,,interesting...same as mine....the psychological give and take is intriguing. God forbid "I" ever do such! LOL! of course in my case they might well commit me but then perhaps I'd have time to learn how to do 'real' poetry! LOL!

    "Oh you smile giggling
    as I carry you
    your arms holding wiggling
    as you often do."

That part brought back some VERY old memories. Like early 69, a Vietnamese/French gal, just turned 19 then, lovely, lovely gal. Unfortunately her father, unbeknownst to me, was a double agent and 'someone' took out the entire family one night and burned the house to the ground. Or SO 'we' were told? I suspect it was....no, Screw it, I am not going to play that game anymore...it did no good then, even less now..anyhow.. I must admit this is probably the first time I remembered her consciously since then. Can still vividly see her face and her eyes but her name will not come. Perhaps it is best. Back to bed for it is 1 am LOL!

    Peace...and love

This was erotic and cute and sensual. Some of the lines reminded me of Hafiz though and it was beautiful to read that in a piece by someone contemporary. I loved this. Well done.

    Smiling...

You accomplished exactly what you wanted with this... I smiled through the entire piece...from stanza to stanza...I pictured two lovers...the bathing...carrying her...her giggling...like a lil girl...the union of the two...then falling asleep in a lover's embrace...possibly to only be awakened again Beautifully done!!!! Your pen flows with passion exemplified
