A thousand lies
from jaded, jackal tongues
will never with their thorny tales,
blemish in the slightest way
all the beauty your heart truly possesses.
Nor wilt the fragile blossoms
flowering in your precious soul,
so divinely scented
by love's purest fragrance.
When the day rains in tears
till submerging the moment's thoughts
ever seeping into the crannies of one's life,
they can never truly drown
all that thrives in your special caring ground,
where you rise so bravely, oh wounded rose.
Another heartbeat shall bring anew
all the healing and comfort you deserve,
refreshing as soothingly like a morning's dew.
Then again your quill will become a painting
alive with vivid passionate strokes for all to inhale.
Each of us will so rejoice,
at how Poetic Aphrodite's beautiful spirit
carried us blissfully through her verse,
to soar among the lilting clouds
of invention's hue.
