Flicker of Fire

My cry echoes off the walls of ears
No one listens to my pleas
The everflowing of my tears
The outcome of what no one sees

Heart feels empty, all alone
Saftey speeds out of reach
Sorrow wells up, all my own
These steel stones I must breech

To set my soul on fire
I need to release this pain
To lift my spirits much higher
And maybe... stop the rain

Author notes

I just feel alone right now and I'm going through alot. Is there anybody out there that doesn't wanna use me? That will wanna love me?

    You have ewxpressed your lost feelings so well. I kinda feel like this at times with my friends but my family keeps me grounded knowing the love and care. I hope you write something new. You take care and know I love ya and am always here for you. UI know you are doing better, I am glad of that. Always, Mom .

    Ash, Ya know I love ya, with a brotherly love, and I dont want to use ya. This was a very heartfelt poem, and I'm sorry your going through this, there have been many upon many times I have felt like this.

    Lord, I pray for ashley, That you would be with her and lift her heart up, Lord comfort her and strengthen her, I pray that you ground her in your spirit, and fill that void of lonliness, I pray that you fill her with peace, and your love, Jesus praise you, you are so worthy Lord, in Jesus name i pray amen.

    I liked this Ash. Its one of my favorites. it showed alot of depth and alot of feelings. You know you can talk to me right? I'm here for you when you need me. I'm trying to go down there I promise! What about sometimes next week?? whoops.. go sidetracked.. lol good write gurl! keep writing!

    I think at one time some people just need to scream you know. The world is really hard on people and its gets hard sometimes. Its not my favorite but i still liked it alot. You showed a vounarable side.
