False Foundation

Twin towers ~

      mirrored reflections

             speak

                 in daily days passing.

Steel structure

              under pressure

                         squeals

                                &

                                 wobbles.

Weight limit

           exceeded ~

                 concrete ballast

                   cracks

                       &

                        crumbles.

Architectural implosion

                blueprints faltered ~

                             ceilings collide

                                             with floors.

Stone columns

                   fall to ruin;

          impaled ~

upon substandard foundation.

This is a great poem, I like how you used the twin towers...and it could be used sort of both ways, a relationship and the actual buildings.
    I'm a scorned woman right now...so relationships...stink. ha ha

I like this. It's original. I like the change in font size. It works very well with the subject, I think.

    Good luck in the contest.
