Goddess of the Unloved

I open wide my arms for no one
Unfeeling air, my embrace
Worshipped by nothingness
And feared by all

Some may mistake me for Hatred.
No, she has her own realm
Of passion and violence.
And as for Love,
She looks on me with pity
Claiming I shall soon be redeemed.

But the wandering and forgotten Heart
Is my ample domain,
Filled with what Love has ignored
And what Hatred wishes not to deal with.

The unloved and unlovable,
The uncaring and unfelt,
All my minions in Desolation’s chambers.
We have all been acquianted with Indifference
Who sits at my right hand,
Tells me his tales of woe

Yet my arms stay open wide
To gather to me the weary soul
Tired from her journey-for-naught,
Who has been thrown from Love’s graces,
Who dare not make Hatred see.
That there is a lost one upon the earth
And that lost one belongs to me

Please tell me what you think

powerful stirring of the pains of not being understood
lost love often turns to feelings of hatred and revenge best kept only in the mind

This was incredible. It was so very deep. I love how you make things flow together even tho it's very emotional and sad.
