In dreams of fantastic reality
where words bloom unfair dualities
where up and down are found clowning around
and flowers from tears of dew so confound.
You offer nectar and morning glory
Your petals embracing magic stories.
Shivering in the wind, your beauty stands true
each day your velvetine touch grows brand new.
I reach down and pluck you from the lush ground
tearing your soul as I possess once found.
I thought it over since I really care
fearing that in life my feelings will tear.
Despite life's imperfection, love is sublime
and my dream in this life; will you be mine?

Oh yes God is good to grant us this love and the gift to be able to express it. I loved this piece and I always love seeing the word "velvetine" in any poem. Thank you for this beautiful piece.

I thought it over since I really care
