If I told you this straight out,
You probably think me strange,
You might run screaming into the night,
To leave my general range...
It started, when I was able to speak,
Just a young child of four,
I was chastised for always seeming so bleak,
But this was about so much more...
I told my father, he was not my father,
For there was only one father I had...
He looked at me, angry, and hit me real hard,
But later I found it was true...
If you were me, what would you do?
I've seen all the things, that there are to see..
All of the things that will happen to me...
Passed my eyes before I was born....
So it goes without saying, that someone like me,
Might just be a little forlorn...
Now everyone says I've got beautiful eyes,
Inside it makes me rage,
Such filthy lies, about MY eyes,
I'd rather be blind at this stage.
Fallen Knowledge,
A fitting name,
To know real pain,
To know how to deal it,
And how not to feel it,
After feeling enough,
Makes one's life tough,
When people don't seem to understand...
If Knowledge is power,
I'd rather have weak crippled hands,
Which could do no harm nor foul...
Evil pictures, cascade my mind,
Shrill laughter tells me, "Their true"
There's no solution which I can find,
If you were me what would you do?

i do like this alot.. the if you were me what would you do, and i enjoyed your rhyme scheme it was different slant rhyme (im best at that) but honestly if i were you.... id want to know, id find a way to figure out who your real father is... but again thats what i would do. tghanx for entering!
