You know it's love
when he knows things
without you having to
say them;
When he loves nothing more than
watching you be you;
When no matter what you do,
he forgives you unhestitantly.
You know it's love
when he refuses to let
you settle for anything
less than the best;
When he dedicates his life
to you,
and only wants you to do the same;
When he's the very reason you exist.
You know it's love
when he died so you can live.
when he knows things
without you having to
say them;
When he loves nothing more than
watching you be you;
When no matter what you do,
he forgives you unhestitantly.
You know it's love
when he refuses to let
you settle for anything
less than the best;
When he dedicates his life
to you,
and only wants you to do the same;
When he's the very reason you exist.
You know it's love
when he died so you can live.
Author notes
This poem starts out typical and describes love; but it has a twist because the very core of it is how much
Jesus loves us. It's supposed to put puppy love to shame
because you always hear people say "oh I'd die for you" and it's to help people recognize that "hey!
ive already got someone who loves me enough that they
died for me." If that makes sense...
Please tell me what you think
