A raven crying out into to the night
A Raven extends her black wings
And lifts off the ground, taking flight
Like a Gothic Angel, it roams the nights's sky
The raven so beautiful and morbid
She glides through the stars so spry
The moonlight dancing on her feathers
It looks down and searches for land
She so swiftly lands on a branch nether
The night is her camouflage, her secret
Her eye so sharp gazes into the distance
The dark is what she uses to secrete
Her dark beauty and shadowy mystery
Shroud her in grace and elegance
We will never know her true misery

I enjoyed the sombre tone that I would associate with this proud bird..Jet/blue plumage with diamond gaze holds
my attention
Well done

Oh what an interesting write......although the rhyme tugged at me at times..it is very evocative in the imagery.
