Indifference

Profound profanity
was wisely whispered
beneath bated breath
causing constant
discomforting
deep down desires
to transcend
the thoughts
of outwardly
expressive egos
being beaten
and awkwardly
dragged down
into inner
philosophical
preponderance

while wrongfully
outspoken, outward
and aggressive
behavior became
as an ambitious
overpowering of
things timid

until ultimately
eliminating every
relevant reason
to transcend ...

indifference.

Wow. This is an excellent poem. I really love all of the alliteration in here. It works so well together, and helps for the theme of the poem to flow fluidly throughout. "Profound profanity..." is especially clever and original.

    I salute you!

I am forever your slave [treate me nice though] you did great justice, I love the way you matched all the constinents together, and yet made it sound simple flowing and unforced at all. I love how you thought about making it entirely one paragraph. Have you been reading Milton?
You have a care for rhetoric and description, those two are beatifully married here. Thank you for setting yet another standard, and gettin a great poem produced for all to read! Good luck!
