To heaven's eyes a dream
ariseth higher still
a dream from mortal realms
arises like a sweet aroma
it drifts softly hea'enward
fraught with white lamb's wool
the gentle, gold mane of a lion
rough, grained, homely wood
and the sweet scent and taste of new bread
a wolf and a lamb lie down in a meadow
and a child entangles himself with a serpent
flowers abound in beautiful colors
while from the sun(he is the sun)
a kind and gentle man gazes down
with soft warm eyes
as mortals and snow-white wings join
in a dance in his honor-
Heaven has a dream.
Author notes
I tried to allude to Biblical imagery...b/c angels are God's messengers, that's what their name actually means.
