Twisted and tweaked into shapes unknown
Of saffron and spirals all being thrown
Into my mind to mull it over
Till sanity feels on loan
Dragged and draped into patterns all blown
Across the land and loose to roam
Under the surface is messy and mad
Until it's a certain copy or clone
Distance descreasing as I'm flown
Nothing to miss nor to moan
Free as feathers to escape
My heart has not yet surrendered to stone

Our mind is akin to a rainbow, and yet a mysterious labyrinth

Awesome rhythm and rhyme! And a perfectly matching background.
Ha. A pleasure to read something of this quality. I will have to check out some of your other work as well.
Keep writing.

WAAAAH
loved it! the edning line just got to me, reminded me of Rachmaninoff, a russian composer. Find his piano concerto 2, and you'll understand where am coming from. Basically he wrote about being scarred in the heart, so the melody starts depressing and it ends with reason to live, and joy to be alive.
so this very much painted the pictrues of the notes, over flowing, willingly whistfully being sung.
Thank you for your eautiful submission and good luck in the competition. -
Great Work!
