Bare to the world, looking so sweet
Open for praise, from outside the pane
Your hearts I will steal, with my paper-thin waist
All week, been stay'n in a suite
A heart of steel, alone and in vain
Fame made me weak; secretly, away I waste
The way I chose, nearly too much to bear
I separate like whey, fill my gut with ales
The disease, it preys; my ego, it wails
I've hit the vein of entertainment
Climbed all the way to the top
So why all the pain and dissapointment?
Alone I must ail, scarring my soul
Buried alive by regret
Beneath its sole, my heart prays
Unable to find happiness,
Swimming with the stars.

I would adore hearing this read out loud.

Hello! Well done! YAY! The "and swim with the whales" caught me by surprise at the end, seemed kind of odd there, but I suppose if I imagine swimming with whales it's a pretty happy feeling.
One request, I just added it to the rules, can you at some point add a list of the sets of words you used? I just went through trying to make sure they were all there and - oops! - what a chore!
No hurry, just sometime before the end of the contest would be great. Thanks so much!
Write on!
