Hold nothing
Not joy, nor sorrow
Nor anger, nor hope
Lest those mantras become chains
Shackles, crippling, game traps
“Let it go” said the man
And returned to his wife
As the lonely child lingered
Over the crippled bird
The bird flew again
Making bitter, the child
Lingering, lingering
Abandoned boy, in denial
Bound by chains
And the others free
Holding nothing
Author notes
“Hold Nothing,
If you meet the Buddha
Kill the Buddha
If you meet your Father
Kill your Father
Free of all
Bound by nothing
You live your life simply as it is”
I haven't written in a while, so I wanted to write something. I don't really like it that much.
