Papa's hand

i saw a little girl
looked like she was 'bout five
reminded me of myself back then
holding on to her papas hand
never talked
just looked around
enjoyng the moment
holding on to her papas hand
the little girl stopped
grabbed a cowboy hat
papa bent down
little girl put the hat on papas head
papa kissed her cheek
put the cowboys hat on the little girls head
picked her up and said
just enjoy the moment
holding on to papas hand

Please tell me what you think

What a precious write! The kind of life that I dream could exist for all children!

    Sweet

I really like this poem alot. It's like the moment you see that first child that reminds you of yourself...you swell up with pride and you just want to tell them to be greatful for every second they have while they're young. That it's ok to get into a little bit of trouble sometimes because their parents won't be there forever.
The only problem I can find with this poem is its lack of flow. But other than that...it's great...and you're terrific to be a freshman.
