I know it’s hard for you to tell
It’s hard for you to see
What goes on in my world
In my mind, in my heart
Unless you could look inside my heart
You really couldn’t see
How he makes me feel
But I can try
When I see his face
Smiling at me
All my problems just fade away
I can’t help but smile back
We sit or walk
Holding hands
Laughing because my hands are always cold
It’s hereditary, I explain
We stand in a room filled with people
Yet I see none of them
Hear none of them
It’s only him and me
My arm around his waist
My head upon his shoulder
Wrapped in a hug
That I never want to leave
When I’m with him
The world just drops away
I try to stay aware of where I am
But sometimes I just can’t control it
And then it’s time to say goodbye
A big hug sealed with a kiss
He’s gone
Until another day

This is my first poem about Brent! woo writer's block gone. Not my greatest in the least... But hey. It's a start from getting out of writer's block since I haven't really written much in a few months.
