This is not a porch swing,
It's a carraige,
Taking in it princesses to the ball.
Those are not clouds,
They are a magical fairy kingdom,
Where you can see the castles of their queens.
That is not a mirror,
It's a portal to all the worlds,
So that we can have adventures and take risks.
That is not a frog,
It is a prince,
Whose true beauty is yet to be found.
This world is only just as plain,
As you make it out to be.

i loved it! especially the last stanza:
This world is only just as plain,
As you make it out to be.
it is so true. i love how you repeated the phrase "this is not a..." always showing how everyday things can be something totally amazing if we just use our imagination.

I really like your choice- everybody, no matter how old, needs a fairytale world to escape into. It's part of the magic of imagination... a thing that far too many people lose when they turn thirteen... sometimes before.
Wonderful job, thanks so much for the entry, and best of luck!
