When Dreams Die

When does a Dream become a Nightmare?
When a Dream Dies in a Heart....

In the Pool of Dreams the Dreamweaver sits watching
The Dreamers fall in love, but yet no one loves her....

It is Forbidden For a Dreamweaver to Fall in love with a Dreamer,
But yet she loses her Heart to one Man....

But he is unsure of what he wants,
Her heart is is breaking into a million pieces....

When does a dreamweaver become a Nightmare weaver?
When the Dreamers Forget their Hopes and Dreams....

Soon the warm Crystal waters of the dream pool become murky and cold,
This Dreamweaver  dies and Becomes what she Fears....

Author notes

Just some thoughts in my head, last night I was goofing out with my Friends and things turned lovie dovie with him singing to her, made me wish someone would sing love songs to me. This is about what would happen if a Dream Dies....

  • Beautifully written. the hardest thing to do is sit back and watch another love that which you love. to know you cannot have what you love can tear you apart. Thank you for putting words to this. I would have added one more line to the end.

For hope without love is no hope at all and love without hope makes the coldest heart of them all.

Very good I love it! The poem is sweet and sad all at the same time. And just so you know the dreamweaver never loses a dream (hint hint). Very well done sister.

I agree dreams never die, as long as the weaver has the strength to weave. Excellent write very deep and dark emotions.

    beautiful

Dreams never die, as long as the weaver has strength...for the strands of the dream will be like silk...soft but strong...its then that its weaved...a dream dies, only when the energy is taken away, the inital intent and how it materlizes.....its fueled by many sources...its up to the weaver to harness that energy...nightmares comes from neglect...that shouldn't be...beautifully written...smile...hugs and love, David
