Head was aching
filled with confusion
asked Dear Warlock
what can I do.
Friends for life
so I value his advice
but what he said
made me feel like chasing mice.
"Catnip with a bit of honey"
that is what he said.
Now tell me what you would say
if you were told to drink this before bed?
Well I went to the store
to the pet section
feeling like a fool
with honey and catnip in my hand.
Brewed it in my coffee maker
didn't smell half bad
kids looking at me like
"geeez that's just sad."
Poured a cup
added a touch of honey
what happened next
I'd expect they'd make more money.
I felt better
even my cold was subsiding
so far no adverse reactions
except this need to roll on the floor.
