She said you were not beautiful
but she could not see the beauty there
Your eyes speak their own poetry
such gentle verse read quietly.
I would ask you to dance with me
even without music we would move
as one and shut the cold world out.
I would hear you sing for me.
She said you were not beautiful
but I see more beauty here
than ever graced the screen
and I would gladly dine with you.
For you I would write the perfect Valentine
and send it with a perfect orchid
I would share my days and night with you
for you are truly beautiful - I know.
Author notes
I would have to disagree - this lady I would love to meet.

A lovely poem
A beautiful poem, a beautiful lady in a picture, and beautiful love with a man, yet to be explored.

*sigh* I'm jealous again. You really know how to write for people, to make them feel special. You see what's inside the person, and it's wonderful.
