Can you hear it,
The waxing and waing of the moon?
Can you smell it,
The perfumes of a rose blossum bloom?
Can you see it,
As the tender grass grows?
Silence is the path to these things
As any proud native would know.
Can you hear it,
as the tree talk to ane another?
Can you see it,
as a wolf tends to his Mother.
Can you smell it,
the mother scent of sweet grass in the air?
Silence is the way to this path,
as this comes with silence and prayer.
Knowledge is what our encestors left for us,
Silence was their gift.
For in the fast paced noise of life
dreams can move fast and lessons swift.
Remember the silence. TSI my brothers and sisters

SIMPLY WONDERFUL!!!
I have always felt being quiet and peaceful brings so much beauty to us. So much of our time is spent being in haste and loud in this world of today. In doing so we miss out on so much that is around us if we only take time to be quiet and see.

BEAUTIFUL YET POWERFUL !
One can learn so much from the silence, all one has to do is keep quiet, listen with an open heart and soul.
From the silence comes the sounds of nature calling, with all of its wisdom.

This poem is beautiful, and because of your heritage, I believe that our beliefs are similar. I love the way you write about nature. It's great.

I love this, and yes I can see and hear it. Our ancestors are all around us whispering to us of the old ways telling us not to forget to honor Mother Earth and the Great Father. Thank your for sharing.
