Rain Of Sorrow

As it showers down upon me,
This on going pour
The drops of water form an encircling sea

My ongoing pain
Keeps growing still
With every drop of rain

The cuts so deep 
Carved into my skin
The blood begins to seep

The blade is sharp
Hungry for more
The rain enwrapping me with her scarf 

The blood starts to flow
Like the down pour around me
The steady beat of rain increases the tempo 

The pounding grows more profound
And abruptly…it stops
And my life…confound
