Why am I clinging to false hopes?
Moreover, my eyes desperately seek a glimmer of light.
Although it means knowing the truth,
even the truth that hurts.
Somewhere inside, my dreams lay dormant but not forgotten,
somewhere I am still there, piecing them together.
(2X Chorus)
Deep in strange oceans I drifted alone but I am not drowning,
I keep floating, although I want to give up.
Something tells me to swim and survive,
Even in strange oceans.
It is times when life fails to be comprehended,
Even when the answers are vivid and burning right in front of me.
Sometimes my sanity seems to be under lock and key.
However, I survive to dream, even while
surrounded by uncertain out come of these days.
(2X Chorus)
Deep in strange oceans I drifted alone but I am not drowning,
I keep floating, although I want to give up.
Something tells me to swim and survive,
even in strange oceans.
Lonely like floating Ice I drift on,
Hoping somehow or in some way I will make it to shore.
With dreams and sanity intact…
