Behind those eyes is hope,
for a new life with smiles and joy.
With growing optimism,
she breaks out of her prism,
and wishes she's with that one boy.
No chance she may think,
he's too popular for me,
as she walks on in a black and white dream.
With her amount of doubt,
she'll want to get out,
of her life that is full of her screams.
In this world of hate,
she hides her own face,
from the thing that she admires the most.
She ignores the other souls,
that truly feel whole,
when she is only a lone ghost.
She longs to be alive,
and live life in a stride;
that only pawns in this world would take.
She still hates her own life,
as she holds her kitchen knife,
when envy is her only mistake.

This is really great! I liked it a lot.
My favorite lines were:

she hides her own face,
from the thing that she admires the most."
