I have a special piece of art
that's painted right there on my heart
it is done in many colors
that was placed there by some others
some marks are very big and bold
placed on there by some friends of old
some are small and quickly written
from boys of whom I was smitten
there are many that are faded
though in my life they have aided
there is a reason for their mark
for to my life they brought a spark
so of this art I am quite proud
before these artists, I am bowed
and each of them had their own part
for all this artwork on my heart
