Mi Amor my love my reason for being
gaze into your angelic face as you lie in my arms
time gives pause and the world disappears
I brush my fingers across your lips
breathing in your scent and our night of passion
all while your heartbeat plays a melody against my chest
The taste of you still fresh in my mind
close my eyes and embrace your love
swimming in the memory of this perfect moment
Drift off to sleep with you by my side
giving thanks and gratitude to the Gods above
for Mi Amor my love my reason for being

aww how sweet
This poem is so sweet..it is very well written...i like it, it reminds me of how i was with my ex-boyfriend...when we were happy...it brings all those happy memories back..the emotion grabs every word..its a very heartfelt piece..great job
