Tears flow silently down
Elegant pale cheeks
Dark red blood drips
Off long slender fingers
Thoughts plague
A diseased mind
A choice is made
The game is over
Life is forfeited
Death is the prize
Smiling is a crime
Pain is its punishment
Torture is welcomed
Caring is false
Friendship is nonexistent
Enemies are everywhere
Pain is killed
By swipes of a blade
Memories are erased
By waterfalls of blood
Confusion is real
Reality is fake
Prayers go unanswered
Spoken my faithless lips
Dreams are forgotten
Replaced with demented illusions
Truth is irrelevant
We are all damned souls
Time ticks by slowly
With every drop of my blood

This poem speaks strongly . I enjoyed it. It's a tad depressing, some stuff is kinda just true when you think about it. You handled that well though....so good job!

The pain and hurting in it is really strong. Maybe too strong for me to handle. I'm not one for dark or sad pieces, but this one takes the cake. It held my attention and it got me wondering just how can people have to deal with things that cause these words to flow out onto paper? I might know some day, but for now I can only be curious. Great write, even though it's so dark, sad, and weary-sounding. Keep up the wonderful writing.

Pain written well
It is written really well though very dark and painful that I really don't want at this time of my life. As a poem it well structured, the flow is very complimentary to teh choice of words that are simple to understand but have the depth of pain and hurt. It's a nicely written poem though!
