Kindergarten

I don't like finger painting.
I don't like when it's raining.
Some days we all play Twister.
I can't stand my sister.
We're told to not talk to strangers.
I can't draw the Power Rangers.
All my books have pictures in them.
I have yet to start hating gym.
I am safe and the world is clean.
I wish I had a time machine.

Author notes

I just wanted to write a really simple poem, where every line could rhyme at the end, and syllables didn't matter.  It's about wanting to be back in a place where I used to be. Maybe not Kindergarten specifically, but for most people Kindergarten is something in their past that wasn't all that bad.
